PBL new season will be exciting !!!!

Okay, the upcoming PBL wars will be full of excitement!!!

Why I said that ? Because Ateneo finally agreed to lend its players to the Hapee PBL Team.

Also, Magnolia has adopted the UST Tigers.

Now this means, that they want Jervy Cruz to play for them, which I think Hapee is not willing to give.

You see, now Hapee is the most formidable team with the inclusion of the Ateneo players. Rabeh and Jervy playing together. These two guys will be unstoppable inside the paint.

Now Aldrech Ramos and Reil Cervantes must beefed up their bodies if they wanna slip past this Hapee squad.

Magnolia will also be a tough team with the adoption of the UST players. Their days maybe over for the UST, but some of the veteran players of the Tigers have the experience and the spunk for PBL kind of basketball.

The question now is ? Are the FEU Tamaraws ready for the brand of basketball in the coming PBL wars?

I think so, they should tap Mac Baracael, he may not be 100%, but the leadership he brings to this team is very much needed.

Can't wait for the opening.

Too Bad Ateneo pulled out

Many basketball fanatics were excited over the news that Ateneo have just tied up with Hapee Toothpaste in the Philippine Basketball League.

Hapee would get the core of the Ateneo Blue Eagles and will team up with guys just like Jervy Cruz of the UST Tigers.

This would be exciting to watch with Al Hussaini teaming up with Jervy Cruz. They would have been two intimidating force inside the paint. Another great twin tower combination, but sad to say that is I think will happen in a long,long time.

It would have been great to the PBL, because somehow the rivalry between Harbour Centre and Hapee Toothpaste will continue.

Harbour Centre being powered by the core of the FEU Tamaraws and Rico Maierhofer against the Hapee-Ateneo and Jervy Cruz, that would have been a slam bang affair.

Maybe next season,when Ateneo is ready to play, let's just keep our fingers crossed.
